Lady in Red

This isn't a good image, and I took many better shots today. In this cold snap I keep looking up and seeing the most delicious of clear blue blue skies with gorgeous sunlight catching the chimney pots and roofs. You really want to see that now don't you - sorry.

This girl tried very hard not to be in my picture, just when she thought she was far enough away and safe did she come into view. I love the old fashioned lamp posts and the pillars behind, It reminds me of a 50's film or a perfume advert. I want to waltz through the lamp posts and swing into the arms of my lover. It has such an air of romance about it for me and so much of a story.... Perhaps my No. 1 boy and I will go there one day to fulfill my fantasy!

Otherwise another day where there was a chance to catch up. Lots of shopping bags later I returned home to tidy here, do that - anything but the rest of the damned cards. My boy has another ski lesson tonight. He will need many layers on. I've never felt it so cold as it was this morning. Thank goodness I bought him some more thermals. That said, I did enjoy the fresh air today. My skin is deperately in need of moisture and I am choking in all the dry air in the house. Must remember to drink more!!!!
