Shoes

There's always something happening in Vancouver.
Today outside the art gallery (which is right slap bang in the centre of town) it was the Shoe Memorial, Canada's National Day of Remembrance & Action on Violence Against Women.   All those shoes on the ground lead towards a whole pile of shoes on the steps leading up the art gallery (which you can just about make out in the distance).

Yesterday on the way home I walked through a peaceful protest of Iranian residents against the dictatorship in Iran. I don't know enough about the subject to make comment, but judging by the turnout I'd say there are quite a few Iranian's against it.
