What a day

Left for work at 06:45 and the roads were clear. By lunch, it had been snowing so much I asked to leave early. It took 5 and a half hours to travel 35miles. Turns out I'm one of the lucky ones! I got a call saying the M8 was closed which allowed me to travel on the back roads. Those who joined the M8 are still on it now!

Blipped this fellow walking away from Edinburgh airport with his briefcase. There were several passengers walking away from the airport with the cases etc. All buses were off and I'm guessing Taxis were scarce too. If he were going the other way I'd have offered a lift but I know for a fact that walking (even in deep snow like this guy) was much quicker than driving.
