Castle in white and white...

The castle was looking particularly striking as I left the office to walk home tonight, all the buses having been suspended for a few hours. Edinburgh on foot (and I mean the population of Edinburgh) is a mighty wave of coats, umberellas and multi-coloured wellies! It is a sight to behold.
The walking itself was horrid in places - but the main complaint has to be the state of the pavement edges at pedestrian crossings. They can be about 8 inches deep in freezing water - it's ridiculous, and people are starting to take crazy risks to avoid stepping in the water pooled there.
I DID consider making this as my blip for today, but it was really taken as a back-up blip and I thought the castle looked prettier.
By the way, I'm not really that shape. I just have a large number of layers on!
