Tipped

This Sedum spectabile has a white tipped flower. The common name for this little beauty is the "Ice plant" and it's very appropriate - the white background is provided by some of the snow which is hanging on and today has been brutally cold. Good job I wasn't sitting in a nice warm office but wandering around outdoors much of the day - lucky me don'tcha think? I'm warmed up now but wouldn't mind if the temperature outside tomorrow morning was a few degrees above freezing.
