thankyou!

We have had a really lovely day. Not the day we planned, but a great one. A fairly early phone call rendered swimming cancelled. Ho hum and that. But Katie decided she'd been deprived of her besty for far too long so we went to see Ava and her mummy. For those of you that haven't yet 'met' Ava, she's gorgeous, her mummy's lovely, and they're also on blip.
Katie and Ava play together so beautifully. They were playing peepo together through Ava's discovery tent, sitting having stories together, whilst trying to french-kiss, sharing goodies bars, and just generally being exceptionally pleased to see each other. And the mummies had fun too. A fantastic morning.
After seeing them, we went to collect some prints from the photo shop (somehow, I managed to select 'only' the 300 required to fill a Jessops offer. And this was only updating the album since early July!). We met a friend and had a coffee, Katie ate her lunch there. She saw her yogurt on the table, pointed to it and said 'yogurt'.
She had a quick sleep in the car before a brief visit to see a little friend of ours, Henry, who's 2. We're looking after him for the full day. From about 7.30. This evening whilst i was pottering round in the kitchen, Katie spotted a golden opportunity. I had left the lock of the snack cupboard, so I turned round to find her sat having emptied her baby biscuits on to the floor, munching through them. She really does amaze me sometimes... the camera was on the sofa, the card was on the arm, I was about to load some photos. She went and took it, tried to put it in the camera, then when she couldn't, she went and tried to put it in the pc.
Ava bought Katie a really pretty personalised bauble. This is what Katie is admiring/tugging at in the photo. She's very excited to have the big tree in the lounge now, she is touching the baubles a lot but very gently. OUr tree is rather eclectic in the decorations, so there is all manner of colour, textures and twinklies for her to admire.
