Weary of this weather

Woke up to heavy snow this morning....and this didnt really stop until about 2pm.

My attempt at jump starting my car yesterday failed miserably, as did my attempts this morning.

Thankfully, the manny from the garage I use turned up trumps. He came all the way across town late this afternoon, jump started my car, dug me out, took the car along the road and re-parked it for me. As the road Im parked on is a death trap, instead of taking the car out for a good run, I then sat revving it (without the aid of heat or lights, as this drains the battery) until it warmed up, or I gave up. I lasted 45 minutes in -4 degrees....yes, Im a lightweight, but I didnt have my gloves on!

Fingers crossed it will start up tomorrow again.....


Thank god I bought more supplies of Bailey's today - will definately be needing one of those to thaw me out!


So, the snow has stopped, and now the fog has started. Fantastic.
