Ho Ho Ho...

How I laughed when I opened the curtains to see a blizzard.

How I guffawed when I saw the schools were declared open.

How I chortled merrily as I slid across the A1.

How I sniggered when I got home a few hours later and to see the kids had been sent home, the buses and trains had been cancelled and hear the BBC reporter describe the weather as "nuisance snow".

Actually, the only time I did really smile was when I got my chops round a pint.
