Our five mile world

Bill's quad bike to the rescue!

Bill was able to help our neighbours carry poultry feed up to their house in his quad bike late this afternoon and also transported bags of salt and grit up our steep hill.

I liked the look of his bright brake lights in the snow!!! Todays Blip!

Again I am working from home this afternoon.

The meeting I had in Rosyth Naval Dockyard was cancelled.

Thousands of motorists are stranded on some of our major motorways in Scotland and will probably face a cold and uncomfortable night. Amongst them are Laura and Anthony who are stuck on the M8 and have been travelling since first light.
No sign of them getting home. Complete gridlock.

Anthony has one apple left to eat!

Laura has a bucket in her boot........just in case.

What a nightmare for them all.

Bill speaks of days when you could always walk to your place of work and local shops could be relied upon to provide all you needed without panic buying.

This is one of the downsides of our Global community.

I hear stranded drivers on the radio blaming everyone for their predicament and want the fire brigade to come and rescue them!!!

Yes, it's easy for me to say this from the warmth of our sitting room, but I do wonder at the consequences in our ever expanding world.
