It's still cold, so cold that there are rumours of local teenagers wearing school jumpers, and even vests. Some of them have actually been spotted wearing coats on the way to school.

There has never been a winter like it.


Guy's Primary school is in deep disgrace with some of the parents, as they have cheerfully cancelled all the after school clubs for the rest of term (2 weeks) due to the weather. Failing to take account of the child-care aspect upon which many people depend, not to mention the fact that the children are part way through important projects: Karate Grading Exam due this week, in Art Club the Christmas crafts are under construction, and so on..
