This is La Quinta!

This view is typical of La Quinta in southern California.

La Quinta is less than 100 miles from the Mexico border, just north of the Salton Sea and the Imperial Valley, a large agricultural area, thus the irrigation and sprinklers.

La Quinta is at the east of Coachella Valley, the date palm capitol of North America.

The travel quiz winner for today is Orchid, the first to correctly guess La Quinta!

Pixelsmith was the runner up to guess Palm Springs and link to the San Jacinto Mountains.

Mats was the first to mention California, several others also got close. A few knew the location, but kept quiet. So all well done!

I tried my best to disguise our travel destination by picturing the hula doll and mentioning Maui and Cheeseburgers in Paradise, but you prevailed! So much fun to have you along!
