Frozen Woodlands
More freezing fog today!
A big fog bank rolled in mid afternoon, as the sun was low in the sky. Luckily I was home and with the camera, as the woods looked stunning.
Shafts of golden light pouring through the branches.
It was too good an opportunity to miss, so I dusted down the Sigma Lens and took some landscape shots.
I have had a little play with Photoshop to bring the detail up, and add a bit more punch to the photo.
A couple of rejected blips today.
A second look at the woods in the freezing fog can be found here.
The freezing fog also had an amazing effect on the left over snow (permafrost?).
I was wow-ed by the little ice crystal forest in the early morning light.
It's been a busy day for the Sigma macro lens as you can see.
Off to Slimbridge tomorrow, weather permitting. Hoping to get some more picturesque shots there!
