Shepherds warning

I love the way the Dawn cast pink light on the snowy hill opposite our house.
Got woken up by some crazy mad max noises at about 6.30. The council are clearing all the snow and ice from the pavements and road side with a JCB! They wanted me to move my car which I did happily but very sleepily. I didn't mind as they had been out until midnight and up again at 5!! Doing a good job! It was actually quite nice out there at that time of day/night.
A whole day of writing and trying not to panic today. Hoping to find somewhere warm to do it!
Watch out for black ice and yellow snow!
