star fish in the caribbean

today again a beautiful sunny day, we went to Chalk Sound which has some of the most amazing water you'll ever see. The most impressive shade of turquoise a light, bright turquoise, with a milky quality.
Chalk is a soft, white, porous sedimentary rock, a form of limestone composed of the mineral calcite.
We ate lunch at Las Brisas with a view of the milky water. We found a beach that was shallow for a mile out.
That is where this picture was taken, I like the circles around the starfish.
I also saw my first papaya tree. Papaya can be used as a food, a cooking aid, and in medicine. The stem and bark are also used in rope production. Beautiful tree.
Monday is our 6 hour snorkel trip way out to sea.
I also saw a the most venomous fish on the ocean floor the lionfish. This is not good, they are invading the Caribbean. They have extremely long and separated spines, and a generally striped appearance, red, green, navy green, brown, orange, yellow, black, maroon, or white.
I've written enough, everything here is so different, I have to share.
