Advent Calendar Day 5 - Lights and sky

This is the view from our back garden - what a glorious sky there was tonight - still very cold and the snow is all around. What is missing from the view is the light from our church's cross at advent. There always used to be a large cross in lights that could be seen for miles - we live 5 miles away - and tonight it wasn't there. Hopefully a temporary problem.

At this time of advent it is great to see the cross and no matter what the weather, know that Newhills church was shining like a beacon at the top of the hill.
