Life & times of the B-H's

By SarahOberon

my first (probably of many!) Christmas blips...

relaxed morning at home and then out to winchester for a bit of Christmas shopping and to mooch round the Christmas market. all looked very pretty, mist rolled down as it started to get dark making it even more lovely.

Alfie is full of cold AGAIN! and rather tired so it had its moments...

We had moments of reliasation of how much life had changed by having a child. We always said (rather naively) that we wouldn't let is change the way we led outr lives and when he was tiny apart from the obvious problems it didn't. We still went out and about just with our boy in his buggy. We did all the traditional Christmas shopping days we had in the past, Bath, Oxford, Brighton etc. Then he got a bit older and a bit more opinionated.

Now shopping is mix of heaven and hell and if he or we are tired god help us all. Tears, mine, Alfies or occaisionally his dads normally ensue at some point. we are really srist and basically don't take any s**t, hate kids that play up in public. Now we have that child, when he is frustrated or tired he yells, kicks, bites, screams, basically you name he does it and we can't stop it. I hate it!!!
Wits end has been reached, but then he does something wonderfully, is ridiculously polite to people, says all his pleases and thank yous, cuddles, grins, laughs and looks so cte it is painful. What do you do?
