La vida de Annie

Trainspotting

I've found a way out of my blipping doldrums; just follow Enya around and blip her taking a shot. This is her patented holding-glove-in-mouth stance. Not quite as good as her human tripod but a close second. We went to Culturepool's headquarters at Metal, a converted boiler house which used to contain the wynch to drag the steam trains up the steep incline to Edge Hill station. The screening, featuring an amazingly charismatic character who was a young lady with learning difficulties, and played totally as herself by such a person, was magical, and the talk afterwards by the writer and script editor a great insight into the creative process; how I wish I could write like that. Not only this but we got home-made soup and crusty bread too! So civilised we are here in the 'Pool.
