Swirling mist

The snow gone, the mist seemed to be dancing in the field behind the trees.

This morning was not the best. The vet had been out to calve a cow who had a dead calf inside her. He tried his best but the poor beast will have to be shot tomorrow. She is not suffering but there is a high risk that infection could spread throughout her adomen - peritonitis. This sort of situation happens very rarely - in fact this is our first after how many decades....
