First Birthdays

Our granddaughter and her friend were born within days of each other a year ago. So tonight friends and family gathered to celebrate their first birthday. It was important to my son that each birthday girl have her own cake, so he made them each one and another, very fancy one, for the grownups. Lots of young children. Lots of noise. Lots of fun.
