Apparently I have offended someone. What I actually did, was (very politely) point out, that I didn't actually share her views (to stop her assumption that me (and everyone else) were happy to go along with her ideas). So my differing views mean that I have offended her.

I could rant on and on about how the verb "offend" is totally misused these days, and the resultant backlash. However I am leave that for another day.........

Tartan carpets, mediocre food and a kitty? It can only mean one thing. Yup. The office Xmas party. Hence a very boring blip. I very nearly totally forgot.
