Ullswater winter mist

The first of my Blipfotos.

I was on my way to Helvellyn for some early season top drawer Lake District skiing on the Raise tow when we went past the shores of Ullswater and saw this wintry scene.

Sure enough this was a bit of false hope as only about 15 minutes into the 1 hour trek up to the tow the 30mph gusts hit hard. Still had a great day out with good mates dodging rocks at the top and skimming over the grass tussocks at the bottom!
