Polar Express

Today was the annual homage to Bo'ness Railway for the Santa Train.

Santa's Polar Express is something we have been doing since Joe was born 4 years ago. I think it's just an excuse for Pop's to go and see the trains, but Joe seems to like it too.

The carriages are that old that there is no heating, so the temperature inside feels just as cold as outside. It all starts to warm up when Santa and his helpers come through the train handing out pressies to the kids and singing Christmas songs as the train chugs along. Can see why Joe loves it x

We always get a nice wee cup of tea and a warm mince pie (of the Christmas variety) when the train gets back to Bo'ness.
