eldorado?

I've taken a lot of photos today but this was the first one I took - I grabbed the camera as soon as I looked out of the bedroom window (yes, I did get up that late, it's Saturday!)

today has been eventful in one of those boring house and family kind of ways. Aïsha was in the Christmas races and came 153rd out of 202 children around her age (2002 & 2003 - she was born end of 2003 so was a little-y in the group). She's very proud of her medal as it's gold and that must mean that she won. I'm not going to delude her, she's happy :-)

I woke up full of cold and have, with great joy, felt it slowly moving down into my lungs. They are now aching like hell and speaking and moving is exhausting. Good job I'm only trying to do 14 things at once, I was doing 15 but I've defeated the mountain of dirty clothes now, so can strike that off my list. See, said it was boring....now I just have to finish the last paragraph of the paper that goes with my presentation for Wednesday and then I can start powerpointing...I do so love weekends :-/
