Calm before the storm

Today hubby was up n off early to men's b'fast, Christmas tree for the church erecting and then off to paint somewhere for charity. I got up not long after and got ready in case I was needed for the Alpha Away-day. But the leader who I was standing by for had got back last night from up north, so I headed off to Tesco to grab some stuff.

Next I cleared the kitchen of out of date stuff, and then set to work on the utility and tidied stuff away. We through so much junk into the cubby holes for sorting out later!

Mid afternoon, I chilled in the lounge with the fire and my Christmas Candles, so thought they'd make an appearance in the blip! They smell lovely.... all Christmassy!

I'm quite nervous about tomorrow and hope it goes really well!

But for now... we are off out for a deacons & staff social at one of the manses!
