Jazz but no Soul...

....the Long Goodbye that is LLCoolJim's leaving event continued today when he turned up for his last day at work looking grim, but keen to go for a pint. Several pints and a Thomson's pie later, he briefly returned to his desk to handover his remaining work items.

Being old and tired, I wasn't keen to go out later, but Edwards' Eye convinced me of the considerable merits of Mr Wood's home-made mulled wine and mincemeat pie party. He was right and the evening continued in The Jazz Bar on Chambers Street and then to Edwards' Eye's flat for some cracking tunes.....which I mainly slept through.
