Heat

I took Sebastian and his Mum and their friend up to Nelson today because I had an unavoidable appointment. We did a bit of shopping but the heat was just too intense so we headed home. We stopped on the way so that Sebastian's Mum could take photos of the old house that I blipped back in September. While she did that I took photos of the sheep who were too hot to move from the shade, except for one hardy individual who obviously had something to prove - I suspect it was about mad dogs and englishmen.

We got home to find it was 39C in my living room - not a comfortable place to be. I think we should have stayed in Nelson, it wasn't quite so hot there.
