Soup?

Well it's been pretty fricken cold lately, if you hadn't noticed. Last week we bought a book full of soup recipes figuring it would be good winter food. The idea is one basic stock, that can then be used to make 50 quite different soups!

Today we went out and got the ingredients.... 9 quid later (clearly restaurant prices rather than heinz prices) we were armed & ready to go. Here's a load of the veg all prepped lovingly by Mathew... this is just for the stock, not the finished soup.

Having followed the instructions to make a litre of stock, I was shocked and appalled to end up with only 400ml?!?

Today was a decent day at work. Morning was really good, then about 12:00 it all kicked off, every customer wanted a piece of me! Still though, my team coped well. Glad to have my weekend off though, here's to better photography!
