Today's the day ..................... to wrap up

I've had enough now. I have been really good - I haven't moaned hardly at all. Just that little bit on the first day.

I have wrapped up warmly and embraced the cold. I have searched tirelessly for - and eventually bought - that pair of adjustable crampons which I have attached to my boots and worn every day. I have braced myself and trudged up and down the icy hill to work every day.

But now I am FED UP with being cheerful in the face of adversity ie. my most unfavourite climatic conditions and I am giving it a warning. Unless it bucks up its ideas and changes to something less inclement pretty soon -

I'M OFF to the Seychelles ............ or somewhere ............ (mutter, mutter)
