Lone Flake
I was taking pictures of the snow in the garden today. I had been planning to share some I took this afternoon, where the sunlight was finally shining across the garden, making the powdery snow sparkle and glisten.
I was going to, but then I saw this.
The snow on the plant was just starting to melt when this little, lone snowflake caught my eye. I had no time to get the macro lens onto the camera, I just had to shoot and hope for the best.
And then it was gone.
I had never seen a single snowflake before.
They look just like they do in the pictures - so delicate, so pretty.
Who knew?
