11 years ago today 6 fellow fire fighters went into an abandoned cold storage building fire in Worcester Massachusetts. They went in because there were reports of 2 homeless people living there. These 6 fire fighters lost their lives doing their job, doing what we do as fire fighters. These are true heroes. I was at this fire. If you know a fire fighter, hug them today and tell them how much you appreciate what they do. If you can not hug them or tell them you love them, just take a moment to think about them. If you know a fire fighter who has given their life in service of others, take a moment today to remember them. This sticker is on the back of my jeep.
