Final Desert Day

We spent our final full day in the Indio, CA desert and experienced our final sunset shown here. Tomorrow we leave for Los Angeles and then Mexico on Friday. It is with a high degree of sadness that we say good bye to the friends we have made here, but are looking forward to the next step in our retirement.

I have not experienced light like that of the desert before. It really is different, something that adds life to the photos I have taken over the past four months. I hope I will be able to capture images of similar style once we reach Zihuatanejo on Friday.
