Snow Day

Today has been declared a snow day. We had "proper" snow over night and in fact all day today, only stopping about tea time. The minis however were up ultra early this morning and we were dressed (Master Pink in his school uniform) and eating breakfast, before the text came through to say the school was shut. Nevermind, later in the morning, we went out to join our neighbours playing outside, to have a go at sledging, snowballs, and snowman building.
Miss Pink loved the baby-sledge, and was wooshed about by my friend's little girl for ages. Master Pink enjoyed the snowball games. I built a snow cow/sheep/pig/man type creature with my brother, who had also come to join in the fun.
After lunch and some indoor play and telly watching, Master Pink and I went out to the untouched snow in the garden. And built another snowman. This one is slightly more person like, although the eyes and nose fell out before I'd made it back indoors!
