Green, white and gold

It was suggested yesterday that I hadn't been trying hard enough to blip snow scenes.

So today I decided to capture Bristol's white stuff in all its glory. And here it is, after I had finally tracked it down.

The truth is, we've been incredibly lucky (so far) - just a couple of light coverings that quickly disappeared.

I just hope it stays that way.

Who knows if it will? Certainly not the Met Office.

On its website tonight, its forecast for Bristol says Friday will be 'mainly dry for much of the day. Remaining cold.'

On another part of the same site, it says Bristol faces a 'risk of severe weather' on Friday, with 'snow accumulations of 2cm to 5cm in places' and 'widespread icy patches are likely to form as rain, sleet and snow falls onto sub-zero surfaces'.

I think the words 'haven't', 'got' and 'clue' have just sprung to mind.

Oh, and apparently the likelihood of the snow occurring is '40 per cent'. What's that supposed to mean?

I make a predicition that Man City will beat Bolton on Saturday and they'll also lose, although there's a fair chance they might draw.
