happy

After yesterday's Sienna joy, today was a happy me! We have had just enough snow to make everything look lovely but with no real disruption - schools and work all open.

I detoured on my walk to work by the snow covered river, the parish church, the art gallery and through the Yards that Kendal is known for. Somebody at some time had also felt the need to smile and so this 'graffiti' adorned one of the stone posts outside Abbot Hall.

A productive day at work, a mince pie at lunch and skiing tonight - might just keep that smile on a bit longer yet!

...and Steve is back tonight after 4 days in Prague :)
