And then the snow came .....again!

It's been very frustrating over the last two days, as I am sure it has been for everybody in the UK. Yesterday's snow made the attempted commute to work too hazardous and eventually I gave up and turned around and headed back home.

If I was hoping for things to improve today well they didn't! It snowed all night and there must be about a foot of snow here now. Whereas yesterday a handful of cars attempted to get off the estate, today there have been no cars on the road at all. Only the foolhardy would even attempt it.

Why is it that the council has not tried to clear any of the roads or grit/salt them?

Fingers crossed for better weather tomorrow, but somehow I don't think it will be.
