Butcher Street

I had to pop into town today and this street caught my eye - it would have looked much better if it had been dark but never mind. What made me smile is the literal German to English translation of Knochenhauer Strasse is Bone Basher Street.

Just a few doors down from the Rosenthal shop is Cafe Stecker which is another very popular place we use as a family. There is a fab choice of cakes and cookies - I had to pop in to pay for a Christmas order and was so tempted to stay and treat myself but no, had to get on with stuff. I suppose that was a good thing as I also didn't have time to run today, can't go eating naughty things on non running days!
