Willow

I took a photo of this tree about a month ago, when the pond wasn't frozen and the whole scene was reflected but I can't include that pic as my blip.

The sun was in the right position and I had a free moment so I jumped into the car to have another look. I didn,t know that willows keep their colours so late in the season. All the surrounding trees are now bare.

I attracted a few funny looks as I trudged around in the freezing undergrowth and my tripod was very cold, but I had fun.

I am still learning about my camera (making lots of mistakes) but I was quite pleased with how this came out in the end.

Think I might try more indoor shots tommorrow.
