I'm not cross

Snow, snow and more snow today! Kids were off school again (all Perthshire Schools now closed until Monday at the earliest) and Mrs P had to call in to say she couldn't get there.

Another foot of snow was dumped last night and the buses weren't coming into the village and no one from our area could get their cars out.

My good deed dash to get groceries for our oldies was thwarted, never made it. Took over an hour just to clear the snow from the top of the car, as there was a layer of 2 inches which was solid ice all over.

Hopefully will get out tomorrow morning, as need to drive Mrs P to work and get some essential supplies before starting work from home. I wont be in the office this week now.

Still, I'm not complaining, i love snow.

One bad thing though, this is causing me to get fatter. We've baked (and demolished) our second Victoria Sponge cake this week, and more are planned for the weekend. Well the only way to find a good recipe is to try them ;)

Only managed a couple of shots between snow showers, so this one of the remembrance garden in the village will have to do.
