Cold Cold River

There was yet more damm snow last night so it was another trudge to work! Such joy:( Don't mind walking but it was minus 7 and the wind chill made it seem lower.

There are not many places to walk to in the vicinity of my work at lunch time, particulary in the snow, so I went back to the river again. The blackbrids are feasting on the red berries on the shrubs, along side of the river, at least they have some food. There were loads of them, all fluffy keeping warm. These ducks were happy too, well I presume they are, swimming up and down the river. A guy and his dog passed me taking pictures and told me he had just come from the River Tay and it was very picturesque with the sun shining on the river and saw over 100 robins (maybe exaggerating) feeding on the ground. But I had no time my hour was up!

Thank goodness it's Thursday tomorrow (day off), no walking in blizzards to work but possibly sledging with my grandson with our new super duper sledge!
