A proper winters day

1st of December today, just 25 more days/sleeps until the big day. Here's an update on how well the preperations are going so far:

Presents - I have pretty much though of one idea for one person (hasn't yet materialized)
Cards - Still in shop
Tree - Firmly rooted in the ground
Decorations - Stashed away in the worlds coldest loft
Turkey - Wandering around a local farm
Beer - Brewing in probably the worlds best brewery (Carlsberg if none of you got that?)

Well the list of things I haven't done could go on....

So ive been stuck indoors all day (as im sure most of the South of the UK is aswell) thanks to the snow/ice/traffic. Unfortunately I had to nip to the end of the garden to grab some more wood for the fire - And here it is.

20cm more tonight *sigh*.
