Bearing gifts!

Our wee 'grand dog ' Isla arrived in the snow today with Ali and Phil with a lovely wee gift attached to her collar!I did not think they would venture out but invited them for lunch seeing it was my birthday. A good time was had by all. The snow came on very heavy again and they set off for home, taking with them a piece of birthday cake which John made. It was delicious.

As I write Fiona has just arrived in time for a cup of tea and slice of cake too!

Better keep some for Andrew who is due in at 4.30. Ps...Isla gave me chocolate. Just in case you are wondering Rona gave me a set of Johnny Cash cd's.:):)

Have had a really nice day amid all the chaos of the snow. I just wish it would go.Have had enough of it!
