Snow Fort: Day #3

I got the roof onto the snow fort last night, it's made from a combination of bamboo canes from the garden and the material from a windbreak. I gave it a good covering of snow at the sides to weight it down and then carefully covered the rest of it to see how it coped with the weight, it is actually pretty strong!

Just as we finished it started to snow and it proceeded to drop about 6 - 8 inches of snow overnight on to it and this is how it looked this morning! I'm going to add a bit more of to the entrance to make it a bit narrower and add some extra support for the front of the roof.
