Chilly Morning........

Went across the fields this morning by the Nene with the bike and found the horses....no water so i guess they were munching on the snow to get a drink....The lakes all frozen but the river was ok but the bank is too steep for the horses to get to the water....It was chilly and most where up against the railway embankment to avoid the wind....Took a short cut back....came to a locked gate but luckily there was a kissing gate next to it and i was able to get through....But the next gate i was not so lucky and faced with a 5 mile detour or wading across the river i opted to take of shoes socks and jeans and wade.....not too bad and only knee deep....
