Mum at 75 (& Chris)

A year of big numbers! Dad was 80 earlier in the year, last weekend was their 50th Wedding Anniversary and today Mum hits 75. Hope I look that good when I reach her age. Battle the traffic and snow to drive from Coventry to Reading so we can all go out to dinner together. The Greyhound - Antony Worral Thompson's pub - a very disappointing meal. The menu was interesting and the food was well cooked, but the plates were cold and the service was so slow and the starters were tiny and badly thought out. The devil is in the detail with food and there was no attention to detail. The horrid mass produced leaflet at the end made it feel so commercial. Won't rush back in a hurry.

Mac's happy to see me again and mum liked her new handbag!
