Ginger and Almonds

Just add sugar and cloves

Somewhat ambitiously, we were hoping to make cookies---similar to the Lebkuchen I used to enjoy as a kid---to help decorate the tree at work, but a lot of the mixture ending up decorating the walls. A clerical error, perhaps.

In the beginning, however, there was dark sugar and ground cloves: a good beginning I think.
