Sandhill cranes in morning light

Another in the series from Bosque Del Apache national wildlife refuge trip. The sandhill cranes spend the night in the pools on either side of the road leading into Bosque. This image shows the cranes taking off for the cornfields in the early morning light, the sun is coming over the mountains behind me and illuminating the birds.
