Canal Dreams.....

Took a walk along the canal this morning......still mainly frozen.


This is the church at Harrison Park. I like the shadows of the trees reflected on the icy canal.

A snowplough passed down my street earlier...not to plough away the snow, no. Instead he was sprinkling grit/salt on top of the piles of snow/ice that are already covering the road.
As there is yet more snow forecast, what will this sprinkling achieve?
