Experi-Mental

Well I've risen this morning and you'll never guess what? We have slots more snow. Finally. I mean who'd have thought it, a decent covering across the estate. I moved into the back of beyond five years ago and FINALLY I get snowed in. Hurrah. Therefore it's curtains closed, camera out and some experimentation (I remember a night like that back in 2008....... time to slip into a JD from Scrubs style 'daydream' for a second :-D mmmm) Which I've done. Here's my effort.

Sooooooo thats that done, now what? A walk in the white stuff? Back to bed? I don't think bed is an option. I've given up smoking (well yesterday due to an aborted late night trip to Costcutters) so I have hardly slept and I don't think daybreak and an imminent threat of a call from my boss will be a relaxant.

The irony is that I've also run out of ice cubes to put in my coke, so although everything is absolutely freezing, my Cola is tepid. You couldn't make it up.

Should I go out in it? Put simply: f*** that. I'm 32 not 12 and playing in snow is as appealling as sleeping with Widdecombe or drowning puppies. I don't like being cold, not a big fan of being wet and I definately don't like both together.

So it looks like a days writing. The only catch is that I currently rent a couple of rooms out in my house to a director at my company and although they haven't decided to try and get in yet I keep hearing 'we'll give it an hour'. I have a message for you: One hour of unbroken sunshine will NOT shift the six inches plus piling up outside the door. Give it up, either go back to bed or go put the kettle on. If you dodon't forget me and for gods sake put the milk in before the hot water this time I like milky tea. Oh and if you forget the three sugars required to keep me sweet: next time I make yours it'll be three salts and some rancid milk.

Some people never learn.

Thanks for everyones continued kind comments, it warms my heart :-D Pity they can't chill my coke to.

Quick updates:

1. My latest mascot blog is online if anyone fancies reading about wearing a furry suit and being kicked in the cortch. Find it here

2. I've run out of coke now as well. I've also run out of Ki-Ora and ketchup. Means my chicken and chips are going to be mighty dry this evening.

3. I did go and play in the snow and it was ace.

4. I broke my camera by dropping the lens against a wall :-(
