Two Houses, Two Porches

It's mid-afternoon, and the bright November sun is bathing this scene just down from our new house and across the street.

The second house is the tree house (roofless, to be sure) to the left of the main house with its two tiered porches. This construction is not too unusual in this older section of Northampton, but the figure in the center of the top porch is distinctly uncommon. View it LARGE.

I was going to blip our new house, under construction, but the exterior hasn't altered much since last week; most of the work has gone on inside. So I went with this blip and will get back to our house later this week.
