Prepare

for the snow is nigh!

Not a flake to be seen, other parts of the country already seem to get some snow, so far Edinburgh has been given a wide berth.

I'm waiting patiently...


...since this is a backblip, I can now reveal that the snow did fall and it what quantities, amazing, fabulous, magical!

In the evening I went to hear/listen to "The Messiah" by Handel at the Usher Hall. It was the SCO playing and one of the best performances that I have heard so far. I was drawn into the story and the music and moved to tears. (I also happened to sit in seats that I could never have afforded myself ever!)
